Toilet Frame

We have added a frame to the toilet to help those with mobility issues. Please let us know if you need it to be adjusted for you.

Ramp

One of the first additions to the cafe was a folding ramp in order to make us more accessible. It is 72cm wide and 61cm long. Unfortunately there isn't enough space to have it out all of the time, so if you need it just let us know when you get here or contact us ahead of your visit.

Sensory environment

The temperature of the cafe is generally quite warm, since we are south-facing, and although the awning helps create some shade we often have the windows open to help keep the cafe at a comfortable temperature, but we are happy to open or close them upon request if reasonable to do so. We normally have background music on but can turn this down or off on request and there can be some banging when the barista is making a coffee. We have sturdy metal folding chairs so some people may want to bring a cushion to sit on. The kitchen is through a doorway so whilst you can smell the food cooking it is not too strong and we can close this door if requested. We have blinds that can be lowered if you find it too bright although generally when the awning is out the light levels are good. We will try to be as accommodating as possible, please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your experience more comfortable.
